I have finally entered the world of blogging….
Why now? Quite simple. I want to share. My life, my projects, my discoveries, patterns, and thoughts. What better time than now to start that?
Loom knitting has become a passion of mine. It can be done anytime, anywhere, and the possibilities of what can be done are endless. It’s easier on those who have arthritis (like me!! And yes, I am 28), and the end result is satisfying and beautiful. My oldest stepson enjoys making things along with me, and to see how proud he is of himself is a benefit in itself.
My husband and I just moved to a small town in Texas after purchasing our first home. I wanted to do something to give back to our new community, and after coming across a church that I wanted to attend, they directed me to a pregnancy center in need of things for the new babies and mommies. Now I have been knitting hats and booties for these new families to give them something homemade for them, a gift to treasure.
So here I am, happy to be here, and hope that those who read this enjoy what they see!!
